Casablanca Inn

We have been staying here for the last few years every time we come to Santa Cruz! It’s our home away from home which is just an hour away. We’ve celebrated anniversaries, birthdays and we’re even able to stay during the beginning of Covid quarantine days. We have a ton of memories here with our kids! Today we are celebrating my husband’s 49th birthday I called and asked for room with a beach view and they delivered as always!! They even sent us a welcoming text. I love their rooms full of history! The location and price and how could I forget the bath robe and house slippers so welcoming is the best part! We’ll be back soon with the kiddos ! Thank you to the staff always so welcoming! This is the place to get away from it all whether it’s for the night or a few days!

Hello, We stayed there Monday night to Tuesday night as a couple. Our balcony was nice and clean and private. We got the partial ocean view which we were able to hear the ocean and see it. It was walking distance to a lot of things especially arcades and the boardwalk and some restaurants. It was nice walking down to the beach the next day in the morning. The lady at the front desk during check out was very friendly and she accommodated us with a late 1230 check out for no fee because we checked in late. That was nice and we had a good time and would stay again.

Amazing room we stayed in 301 and the view from the balcony was amazing for sunrise and sunset! We paid for late check out but we ended up kicked out early.

Wonderful view of the ocean from our room! The girl who checked us in went above and beyond with service. We stay here often and will continue to do so!

Would not recommend staying here with out booking ahead of time! Arrived at 2pm and was told they had 1 room available and took it since the location was great! The room was expensive but last minute and great location we decided to. We had to wait 3 hours for our room to be ready since someone switched out of our room for another one on property. When we arrived to the room I can see why they switched rooms. AC was only available in one of the two bedrooms and the one without was extremely warm. The door to the second bedroom would not open all the way without hitting the bed! The view was awful, it was at the back of the property with tiny windows. It appeared to be an old building that was retro-fitted for rooms. The other rooms on property looked amazing with a nice view of the ocean and the boardwalk. Also there is no one at the front desk after 10pm or before 8am. Great location!!

We stayed in the family room at Casablanca Inn. The space itself was great and worked well for us, but there was no AC — only a fan — which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. The balcony view faced the backstreet, so you don’t really get much of an ocean view unless you’re at the front of the hotel. Overall, considering the price, I’d give it four stars.

We had a great stay here. The rooms were clean and tidy. The beds were really comfortable. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Looks like they are upgrading the rooms, so there is some work being carried out. Lots of parking available - which there is a charge for, so no free parking. We were upgraded to a beach view room which was superb. Happily stay there again and recommend to all.

Cayden is Awesome. I had an unforeseen circumstance that did not allow me to make it for my stay and he was able to assist me in canceling my stay without a charge. Because of this, I will absolutely be re booking my stay. Great customer service from a great Hotel!
